The Green Witch is a woman-owned small business manifested from a lifetime of wide-eyed wonder. It’s about the discovery of your own magick drawn out by the nostalgia of a scent in the wind, a sunny sparkling ripple over the water, or the alluring warmth of a leafy green on an afternoon walk. The products here are artfully crafted in small batches, or gifted by Earth and passed along by caring, respectful hands. Our mission is to remind everyone that there’s magick in all of us.

Owner Rachel Mars is a Gemini, Artist, and Gardener born and raised in North Shore Massachusetts where there still exists a rich history of tradition and nature-based practices for those who seek it. She is the eldest of three sisters, and a proud auntie. When she’s not gardening, or creating her products, she is most likely found on some trail trying to spot cool bugs and other wildlife, organizing markets and other pop-ups with blacksheepevents.org or relaxing at home with her familiars and a glass of chianti. She is a romantic, a lover of vintage and re-purposed home decor, deep earthy scents, and a good “dad joke.”

Rachel’s practice leads her on a path of continuous growth and re-discovery though an appreciation for the magickal little things existing in every day life-on-Earth experiences. She looks to naturalist and herbalist tradition as well as folklore to explore properties existing in the world around her, but ultimately creates her craft through instinct and intention.
